Technology Behind the Whitening Accelerator

The Whitening Accelerator uses the most advanced light filtering technologies to ensure the safety and comfort of its customers. The Whitening Accelerator contains a high-intensity halogen bulb that emits blue light at a wavelength of 480-520 nanometers. The light is then filtered through an optical lens coated with more than 30 layers and through over 12,000 fibers reaching a total length of one mile. The process filters out all harmful heat and ultraviolet light.

As a result of its advanced light filtration techniques, the Whitening Accelerator operates at a lower temperature than similar products, limiting the risk of tooth sensitivity and damage to the dental pulp. Our state-of-the-art technology also means that patient preparation time is significantly shorter, decreasing the patient’s risk of developing tooth sensitivity and increasing patient comfort and satisfaction.

The 30-minutes process is very effective for teeth that have been stained by smoking or by substances like coffee or tea. It also whitens teeth discolored by medicine such as tetracycline or speckled by fluoride.

When used together with the Whitening Gel, a specially formulated whitening compound containing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and 20 nanometer silicon dioxide (SiO2), along with other special ingredients, the result is a shiny, white smile.
